Membership: Benefits & Responsibilities

Congregations, parishes and church-affiliated groups that affirm the mission of CPNV (above) are eligible for membership. 

Membership Benefits

  • Opportunities for members of participating congregations to engage in educational training, action, advocacy, worship and networking.

  • Issues of concern to the constituencies of member congregations shall be given priority consideration for action.

  • Discounted fees for workshops, seminars, educational opportunities and training events sponsored by CPNV.

  • CPNV is a member of TAP, an emerging broad-based community organizing effort. 

  • CPNV member churches are invited and encouraged to participate in TAP events and projects. 

Membership Responsibilities

  • Annual membership fee (range from $250-3000 as group is able).

  • Naming two persons to CPNV Board to represent interests of parish and to inform and involve parish members in CPNV activities;

    Board of Directors

    The board of directors is composed of two representatives from each member church, and one representative for each 50 individual members.
    The board meets the first Wednesday of the month at noon in library of the First Unitarian Church. The meetings are open to all interested individuals.

  • Contributing time, energy, and relationships to make this a vibrant and effective organization. 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Becoming a Member

Membership is open to any church or organization in St. Joseph County who wants to join us in following Christ's way of peace. Individuals are also welcome to become members. Complete the form below if you would like more information about becoming a member.
